Responsible for the personal data
Chalmers Innovation Foundation (in this case Chalmers E-village) organization number 855101-4791, is the personal data controller for the processing of your personal data as described below.

Guidelines
We at Chalmers E-village care about your personal integrity and strive to protect your personal data in the best possible way. This policy describes what information is collected about you, why we collect the information and how it is managed.

Chalmers E-village processes your personal data primarily to fulfill our obligations to you as a member in the community and other stakeholders. Our starting point is not to process more personal data than is necessary for the purpose, and we always strive to use the least privacy-sensitive data.

We only process personal data when we have a legal basis, see below. We do not process personal data other than when it is needed to fulfill obligations according to agreements and laws.

Events
We at Chalmers E-village offer an active and living community where we provide news about what is happening in our village, offer member in the community and other stakeholders exciting and interesting events and meeting places, and follow up on what the participants think in order to make future events and meeting places better.

Personal data (name, address, and e-mail) provided in connection with registrations for seminars, workshops or similar events are only saved as long as is required for the administration of the event and what is necessary for the purpose of being able to prepare and carry out events, as well as finishing work, see below. We also use personal data for marketing (in step 3 when we market the event and in step 5 when we record personal data for future marketing). In addition to this, we process personal data in order to manage invoicing and accounting if we charge for the event, and the invoice documents are saved according to current accounting rules.

Right to request information
You have the right to request information about which personal data we process about you, as well as to request that the data be corrected or deleted. You can do this by contacting Chalmers E-village at evillage@chalmers.com.

Please note that Chalmers E-village only has access to personal data that is needed for our operations, for example subscriber registers and lists of participants and speakers from our events.

Our starting point is not to disclose your personal data to third parties if you have not consented to it or if it is not necessary to fulfill our obligations under contract or law.
